Unique Items

Unique items make a comeback in Diablo 4 with Blizzard outlining their place in the item tiers during the December 2020 developer update[1].

Diablo 4 Item Tiers

Uniques sit just below Legendary items on the tier scale. That does not mean they are less useful and a lot depends on your build how to get the most out them.

What are Unique Items?

Unique items come with fixed affixes, are heavily thematic and usually class-specific powers, and have distinctive looks.

There are two types of unique items, class-specific uniques and generic uniques with class-specific uniques being more beneficial to one class. Generic uniques hold properties that could be beneficial to all.

How to Farm Uniques

Many unique can drop in World Tier 1 and 2 but all unique can drop in World Tier 3 and 4. Uber unique can start dropping from monster level 55 and drops at item level 925

There are quite a few unique items that can be farmed from specific monsters.

Uber Uniques

These uniques are hard to come by and are the most sought-after unique items but Duriel can drop them.
